LeFevour: Ex-Bear Has Ups and Downs in Canada

Bears fans may remember Dan LeFevour from Benet Academy.  At Benet, after starting as running back, he played QB and threw for 2,929 yards and completed 173 passes. He was a running threat and scored 54 touchdown in his high school career.

LeFevour continued to improve his skills in college and set many records as the quarterback at Central Michigan University.  LeFevour had over 12,000 passing yards and 2,500 rushing yards and had 150 total touchdowns.  LeFevour led Central Michigan to three MAC championships in his four years

Drafted by the Bears and released, he was picked up by the Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, and Jacksonville Jaguars.  He was released by his NFL teams and he went up to CFL in Canada and saw little action his first two years on the Hamilton Tiger Cats.  But in 2014, he moved up to starter and came into his own throwing for 1,670 yards, 4 passing touchdowns and 4 rushing touchdowns before he suffered a tear in his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
