When Seattle beat the Packers 37-16 in its very loud stadium, the loss was not the only painful part of the northwest experience. There were injuries. And perhaps the most concerning one was that of the Packers right tackle, Bryan Bulaga, who suffered a sprain to his medial collateral ligament in his left knee. Luckily for the Packers, it was not a serious injury, but for the past couple weeks, it's been a wait and see approach to their games. While Bulaga has been interviewed ad nauseam by the press as we approach the Packers-Lions contest, as of this minute, we still don't know whether the big guy is going to suit up.
Betting odds favor the Lions in the game, but you have to wonder if those guys interviewing Bulaga were looking for a nugget of information that might make a difference. Any time Bulaga is on the field, it gives Aaron Rodgers a better chance of being Aaron Rodgers and that's a good thing for those who love the Packers as well as for those who love to bet on them.
