As the Bears move into the playoffs, it’s a good time to reflect back on some of the Bears quarterbacks. Here’s a little quiz I made up that includes questions on current and past Bears who played the position. (It's also a good time to buy one of my books.)

Bears Quarterback Quiz Answers

1. Who had the highest QB rating for the 2010 Season?
Kyle Orton (87.5) -- Jay Cutler (86.3) Cutler's rating improved greatly in 2010, but he did not catch Orton.

2. Who had the highest QB rating for the 2009 Season?
Kyle Orton (86.8)-- Jay Cutler (76.8)

3. Who was not born in Indiana?
Kyle Orton was born in Iowa, but attended Purdue.

4. Who did not play for the Green Bay Packers?
Rex Grossman has not played for the Green Bay Packers yet.

5. Who punted in college before breaking into the lineup at quaterback?
Jim McMahon. According to the College Hall of Fame, in four years at BYU he had 84 touchdown passes, gained 9,536 yards in passing, had a .616 completion percentage, and averaged 39 yards on punts. He set 80 records at the school, conference, and national levels.

6. Who of these three Bears has the highest career total rushing yards?
Kordell Stewart rushed 2,874 yards in 11 seasons, Jim Harbaugh rushed for 2,787 in 15 seasons and Bobby Douglass rushed for 2,654 in 10 seasons.

7. Who was acquired in a trade that sent Zeke Bratkowski to the Rams??
Bill Wade. Bratkowski would later get picked up by the Packers and would prove invaluable as a backup during the Lombardi era.

Rex Grossman--Grandfather Rex played quarterback and linebacker for Indiana University from 1945-46 and in the NFL for the Baltimore Colts. His father Rex played quarterback for Indiana from 1970-72

10. Who led his college team to four consecutive bowl games?
Orton started in the 2001, 2002 and 2004 Sun Bowl and the 2003 Capital One Bowl.
